Alright please I need your help with replacing seagrass on my boat and I'm just trying to have an idea of what others may have gone with, I'm in a forum, why not utilize the amount of second opinions I could get from here, so the original has held up pretty well, but it's starting to show its age with some wear spots and fading that's hard to ignore, well it has served us pretty well, I still want to stick with the whole seagrass look and feel, but I'm open to better alternatives if anyone has found something more durable or easier to clean. So whos using seagrass and what are y'all using and how is it holding up for you

I've stuck with seagrass too, but switched to synthetic versions recently, it is way more durable and easier to clean, it still looks great and holds up better against wear and fading

Seagrass is great because it lasts and dries fast. But, if you're after something super easy to clean and that will stick around longer, some are now trying woven vinyl or EVA foam, they even block UV rays

Oh, same dilemma with my 2018 Cobalt R5. My old seagrass flooring worked well for a few years, but the sun and sand started to wear it out. I replaced it with Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl, it looks like seagrass but lasts longer and is really easy to clean with a hose. It's been great so far, even with kids and dogs on the boat.
