Cobalt 222 with a defective engine

Not sure if I got it that way or I did something to it, the engine is toast, so there's not going around that. The thing I'm interested in is the potential swap options? I don't mind something more powerful, I do ming some pas in the ass job that's gonna take me years to complete.
 
If the engine's beyond repair, swapping in a more powerful option can be a great upgrade, but be prepared for a long and challenging project with custom fitting, wiring and tuning. Are you leaning toward a specific engine type or brand , or still exploring your options?
